No, it is not really steam. Steam is a term used in the carpet and upholstery cleaning industry. We use hot water heated to the appropriate temperature for the most effective cleaning.
We use steam (hot water), pressure and a cleaning solution to deep clean carpet down to the backing. The soil as well as the solution is removed immediately using strong suction. Steam cleaning is the most effective method of carpet & upholstery cleaning.
Most of the water is extracted from the carpet during the cleaning process. When finished, the carpet will be damp. You may walk on the carpet immediately after they are cleaned, however, we strongly recommend you wear clean slippers or shoes. Avoid wearing street shoes until the carpets are completely dry to prevent re-soiling. Please allow approximately 6 to 12 hours for drying.
No, water will not ruin carpet. Today carpet is manufactured to be water resistant. In addition, 95% of the water used during the cleaning process is removed by our powerful vacuum.

I used Cahill’s Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning to clean my dryer vent. I am so happy with the service. I called at the end of the day because my dryer vent became disconnect from my the wall while in the middle of drying clothes and it was evident that my vents needed cleaning. When I called they squeezed me in for the next day. He was prompt and so helpful and so nice. He did a fantastic job. My dryer is in a tight spot and he made it work.
